ELLE KING TO PERFORM AT SXSW FESTIVAL IN AUSTIN, TEXAS

(New York, NY – March 6, 2012) Elle King, an enormously talented young recording artist who recently signed to RCA, will be playing at a slew of events and herfirst official showcase in Austin Texas at the South By Southwest Music Festival on March 14, 15^th and 16^th. (check schedule below for set times.)

Already spotlighted as an “Artist to Watch in 2012” by Esquire Magazine andRefinery 29, Elle possesses an incredible songwriting flare and an arresting voice in acategory all her own - she also plays a mean banjo and guitar. Born in Ohio and raised in Brooklyn, her musical style and songwriting themes are a blend of old soul, blues, and rock 'n' roll and her personal style is Bushwick, Brooklyn meets mid-Western charm.

Her lead track "Good To Be A Man" will be released on March 13 on iTunes and Fat Possum Records will also be releasing the single on 7” vinyl, available on April 24, 2012.
