SPARKLE THE ORIGINAL MOTION PICTURE SOUNDTRACK TO BE RELEASED JULY 31^ST

(New York, New York) – The track listing for the highly anticipatedSparkle: The Original Motion Picture Soundtrack, is released today. The soundtrack will be available on July 31^st from RCA Records.

The 11-song soundtrack features recorded performances from the late music icon Whitney Houston, as well as tracks from pop superstars Jordin Sparks and CeeLo Green including “I’m A Man,” “Hooked On Your Love,” “Look Into Your Heart” and many more. “Celebrate,” the first single is a fun, up-tempo, feel good track produced by R. Kelly featuring Sparks and Houston. The video for“Celebrate” premiered on BET and VEVO last week.  The soundtrack’s second single features Houston’s soul-stirring take on the gospel classic “His Eye Is On The Sparrow”.

Sparkle, a remake of the 1976 classic, stars pop superstar JordinSparks and the late Whitney Houston and is directed by Salim Akil (Jumping The Broom, Soul Food). Sony Pictures will releaseSparkle in theaters nationwide on August 17^th.
