(New York, NY – February 1, 2012) Just in time for Valentine’s Day, R. KELLY, the three-time Grammy Award winning King of R&B, released his brand new single “Share My Love” to radio today. “Share My Love” will be available at all digital music providers on February 14th.
Written and produced by R. Kelly, the infectious up-tempo track is the first single from Kelly’s twelfth studio album Write Me Back (RCA), set for release this May. Write Me Back is the follow up to Kelly’s critically-acclaimed RIAA Gold-certifiedLove Letter album which has garnered two nominations for this year’s Grammy Awards: Best R&B Album, and Best Traditional R&B Vocal Performance for “Radio Message.”
Released December 2010, Love Letter received praise from critics and made the New York Times Pop Top 10 Albums of 2010 list, while its hit single, “When A Woman Loves,” made Associated Press’ Best Singles of the Year List.
After capping off 2011 with a soul-stirring performance of his Grammy Award winning song “I Believe I Can Fly” with X Factor winner Melanie Amaro, this year will prove to be another stellar and busy one for the hitmaker.
